Moldavite: Starborn Crystal Of Transformation

Time and again, in legends and myths throughout the ages, you can find the story of the celestial green gem of transformation. A star-born catalyst of healing and wholeness, the sacred talisman of awakening, its call opens the door to our destiny. Now, in the times of critical mass we find it again, the Moldavite, multitude of human channels. Its function as a spiritual tool grows and clarifies as we use it. As more of us find the commonality of our experiences with it, our sense of oneness grows.

Moldavites originated almost 15 million years ago, when a great meteorite hit the earth surface in what is now the Czech Republic. Although Moldavite was prized by human beings for tools and amulets some 25,000 years ago, it was a forgotten energy until just a few decades ago. In modern times, Moldavite has emerged as one of the healing crystals most prized by practioners of energy-healing modalities and metaphysical seekers and seers alike. I have personally experienced Moldavite to boost my physical and psychic energy, remove a headache, and to recover from illness or injury almost at the speed of light!

Moldavite’s transformative applications to our spiritual dimension truly amazes me. Beyond any other energy, Moldavite is a catalyst for inner evolution towards one’s highest good. Often the changes it brings can be intense and rapid, difficult, and life-altering, but certainly Moldavites are among the most powerful gemstone tools for spiritual development and expansion of consciousness.

Moldavite harmonizes particularly well with Larimar, the Quartz Family, and Luvilite in the laying of stones on the body, gridding and in blending gemstone oils. It tends to supercharge and spiritualize the energies of whatever stones we use with it. Moldavite oil can be placed on gems, or on the chakra and meridian points of our subtle energy bodies. This raises our vibration, beginning a process of energetic resonance in which the vibratory rate of our whole being is increased.

Energetically, Moldavite will activate all of the chakras. Moldavite’s energy tends first to move wherever it is most needed in the physical and etheric bodies, and then centers in the heart.

Hitting The Right Note

As a healer, I like to explore and use a variety of techniques and tools to promote and amplify the healing energy. These can range from using the power of colour in visualisation to the exquisite tone and vibrational range of the Tibetan singing bowl. Sound healing is a beautiful method of energy clearing & balancing, and can be used as a support for other treatments in the healing process. With the lovely healing vibrations created by Tibetan singing bowls and Tibetan bells, sound healing utilises the vibration of sound waves to clear, re balance, and ground, the energy bodies and channels of flow. These changes then filter down to positively influence physical & emotional imbalances.

Everything in our physical world, each structure and form, carries a unique vibration, or tone. This vibration determines the nature and essence of that form. When we experience physical illness or energetic imbalance, it is a sign that, at some level, there is a disharmony in the resonance between the vibrational levels in the energy field.

Energy healing with sound seeks to bring in a harmonious resonance (in this case, with singing bowls and bells) to help re-align disharmonious frequencies and restore balance once again. This new state of harmony can then promote healing at the physical level, as deep stress is neutralized in cells and organs, enabling them to return to a healthy state.

So how does the resonance created by the Tibetan singing bowls and bells work? The resonance created by bowls and bells works directly on the energy field. When played by striking, as with bells, the vibrations act more on the chakras while, when played by rubbing the rim, as with the bowls, they act more on the overall aura.

The resonant tones of Singing Bowls & Bells have also been shown to affect brainwave frequencies, shifting brainwaves from the heavy, depressed Delta & Theta waves, which should normally be found only during sleep and dream states, to the more alert and uplifted Alpha & Beta waves of mental clarity, focus and attentive relaxation.

At the physical level, they act directly through the nervous system. Higher frequency tones generally resonate in the brain and affect cognitive functions, such as thinking, spatial perception, and memory.

Middle frequency sounds tend to stimulate the heart, lungs, and the emotions. The lower frequencies affect muscle tension and physical movement. As vibrational beings the affect of the singing bowls is amazing. It produces a wonderful ethereal and haunting tone that is magical and it is quite unlike anything you will heard before.

The singing bowls are wonderful for clearing the energetic space in your home. Going from room to room, the tones ring out and you literally feel the air changing, the rooms seem lighter and more spacious.

I remember the first time I used a singing bowl, I felt as if my whole body quivered and vibrated matching the tone of the bowl. I felt my head clear and my ears literally popped. I had been suffering from nasal congestion and a headache. The minute I started to play the singing bowl, my symptoms disappeared very quickly. Intuitively I had hit the right note.
